Related, there’s an awesome tool [1] created for the SDR crowd for decoding captures of 433mhz signals, which really deserves an award for open source design and is a genuine public service. I’ve used this to identify and reverse engineer generic thermometers, which saved me a heap of dough paying for name-brand gear.
