But they're doing it to play steam games, not to spend time in whatever the metaverse platform is called.

Mark thinks he sees where this is heading, and rather than just letting people play games with his metaverse headsets, trying to gain market share and dominance by legitimately anticipating desire, instead he’s going to drag them towards the future he imagines, kicking and screaming.
The people might be kicking and screaming, too. Wouldn’t you?
