I'm hoping the current European energy crisis will lead to greater nuclear developmemt, which will bleed over to Australia eventually. Hopefully we can replace the coal and gas areas of the graph with nuclear sooner rather than later. I used to be hopeful about battery tech to support renewables, but recent projects are starting to suggest battery storage economics at the level needed won't work for a long time.
