#12Netflix is churning out an insane amount of content that is background noise at best and barely watchable at worst. They also lost a lot of face defending “Cuties” - which was basically kiddie porn disguised as an art house film.
But 7 seasons of Toddlers & Tiaras on TLC was fine, right?

TLC died and burned its credibility around when (or a bit before) Toddlers & Tiaras.
If Netflix wants the same cultural clout as TLC, it's a defensible decision. Up until recently, they've had significantly more.
