Interesting that they are changing the official distribution method from snap to flatpak. I've had much better experience with flatpak than snaps.
Why is it interesting then? Or did you have a better experience with snaps?

Also interesting because PopOS has flatpak built directly into the software center. No idea how common that is.
Re: KeePassXC 2.7.1 Released
#13As much as I like/use KeePassXC, I don't think we need a post for every minor release.

Yes. People see the name of the project and want to discuss the project in general*—not the minutiae of the latest release. This is a problem because most of that energy goes to the most popular, best-known projects, leading to repetitive discussion, which is the thing we most don't want here. #17Switching from KeePass to KeePassXC for work was one of the best decisions I've made in awhile.The modern GUI is cleaner, stuff is easier to find, and the browser integration extension is much better. I have yet to find any downsides.
* Does not have global hotkey to show window
* Does not have {PICKFIELD} auto-type placeholder
I hope someone can tell me I am wrong and somehow overlooked these features.Re: KeePassXC 2.7.1 Released

Every time KeePassXC comes up, I think about when I tried to switch from KeePass in 2020 and wrote myself the following notes: * Does not have global hotkey to show window * Does not have {PICKFIELD} auto-type placeholder I hope someone can tell me I am wrong and somehow overlooked these features.
