Probably one of the most subtle things about this whole bit that I've only now noticed is that George takes 4 buns out of each pack of 12, but gets 3 packs.
That makes for a total of 24 buns across 3 packs, instead of just buying two of the original packs of 12 buns.

Of course they is. If the wieners comes in pack of 8, you need to buy 2 packs of 7 from Hebrew National.

This seems to be a Heinz Canada marketing stunt and I don't think they sell hot dogs here. Hot dogs typically come in packs of 10 here, although you can get bigger family packs.
Heinz is dead to a lot of Canadians, especially if you live near Leamington.
