Discussed at the time: We don’t have unprofitable customers, just unhappy accidents - https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=20069301 - June 2019 (16 comments)

Curious, do you look these up manually or have a script generate these comments for you? Thanks for all you do dang.

I look them up sorta manually in HN Search but have a bunch of software support to make it doable fast. Let me see if I can dig up the past description for you.

Edit: described at https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27284079 and https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27236708 and at various links back from there.

Earlier quoted context omitted.

Distribution is a low margin business. I suspect the attitudes and practices that help you thrive in that environment would push people like Hank away.

> Distribution is a low margin business. Hard disagree. It's low margin if you're doing it wrong. Hank's Trucking exists. It's called FedEx Expedite, among many other expediting companies. You should check things out before your fingers type a check that facts can't cash.

FedEx agrees, that's why it ended its relationship with Amazon.
