I am working on a system for independent websites that is akin to this. rather than focusing on notebooks, I decided I wanted to make a system for making websites from notes. it's going to be incorporating a few features like distributed hosting, version control, offline and archive modes and distribution. client driven content and work on adding new plugins.
I have been using Obsidian for the past few months, and I love it! Hoping for a mobile app soon.
Big fan of Obsidian, I love that it's completely usable on it's own (without a cloud) and you can bring your own syncing technology to it, whether that's syncthing or Dropbox.
I've been working on it all day! It's a great app with an active community.
