I paid $1800 for this MacBook... and sure, for all I know it's a pile of shit. But a website being either janky or a massive CPU hog seems like a reasonable critique given the context. Also, "you're", "their", "starts", "MacBooks", "it's" and "an".

I'm not a Mac fan, and I'll just say for the record that bad software (including shoddy websites) can bring any computer to a temperature that a silly fan spins up. Fans spinning up isn't a sign of bad hardware, it's a sign of a cooling system doing what it's supposed to do.

Loud fan-noise however is a sign of bad thermal-management and engineering.
