MS Windows: That’s why we can’t have nice things. Solution: don’t invite the village idiot of OS’s to the party :-) Windows is why we can’t just use “Make”, and ended up with abominations like “Ant” :-(

It's tuned to the preferences of another company; if you prefer their taste on the finer points, that's one. Secondly, it's written in Go, so installation should be simpler.
