Anything labeled Watson get out the checkbook!!! My guess is that this thing will do less than Amazon Lex and cost $$$$.

Reading the buzz on the page, I don't see any difference between this and the chat api Watson released last year. The one they wanted like $60K for my startup to use for 50 conversations a day....A DAY!!!

Watson == overhyped, devalued brand

Hey, shoot me a message. This can't be right.

too little too late? IBM Watson has been around almost as long as google. You would think they would have shipped some pay-as-you-go API years ago.

Where is pay as you go missing? Pretty much every Watson service is available as pay-as-you-go.

I would need some sort of contact details to shoot you a message, or perhaps I'm not kewl enough to know how to do that in hacker news... This thread leads me to believe that it can't be done, but that was nearly 3000 days ago https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1028763

Earlier quoted context omitted.

Used Chrome's "Make page mobile friendly" and could finally read the damn text.

Where is that button?

It shows up on detected articles but I configured it to show up everywhere because most sites need it. There's probably an article out there somewhere. You have to change something in about:config
