One in five Americans were not born in America. Most of the host nations where these people come from are rather religious.

It would be good to see data about how religious future generations are, coming from these new host nations. My hunch is that as the older [European] stock is phased out of the population (low birth rates correlate with low religiosity) religious affiliation will rise in line with the global trend.

Materialism, theism and atheism are all religions.

I think not.
