Seems a little premature to require this as we don't necessarily know that this would help.

#17The website is pretty explicit about it being just self-driving "technology". I wonder if they just plan to work w/ one manufacturer for now or if they're in talks w/ many. With so much competition, if they're all executed to the same standards of safety, my wallet is going to go w/ better design & aesthetics.

Probably safe to say they're in talks with other auto manufacturers that are looking to add self-driving software to their portfolios.

#20At least they could have given a more up to date report on what they are doing. 7 years passed since 2009 and all we've seen is a couple of promo videos with scant actual information. We have no idea how they compare to Tesla or other self driving car startups.
