First time I've heard of Facebook Notes, which apparently aren't new at all. The notes that I do see aren't styled the same way as Zuckerberg's letter.

#12"Medicine has only been a real science for less than 100 years, and we've already seen complete cures for some diseases and good progress for others." Thats a bit unfair. Scientists have been painfully working to advance the field of medicine for centuries.

#14A great read indeed, plus a nice picture. I'm going to print out this and read along with my next generation. I'm thinking about starting to use facebook again, left it a few years ago.

#20I'm not trolling, as much as it will seem the opposite, but I feel compelled to wonder about postnatal mania (mild postpartum psychosis) as I read the letter. I wonder how different (or private) the letter may have been had it come four months from now. I wonder how many really significant acts of charity and kindness by the super wealthy and influential occur in the days following childbirth. Just wondering aloud he…
