The economic recovery has managed to endorse a long held statistic that will no doubt remain the source of much argument for all eternity, but the fact remains that the economy nearly always does better when a Democrat is in the White House. The last 2 Republican administrations saw the economy tank significantly under their leadership; the Democrats who relieve them turned it all around. Many will say it has nothing to do with who is in the White House, but one has to wonder why historically this has with good consistency been the case going back nearly a century.
