I'm one of the heavy readers of Google news on web. I like the way it leverages news from different sources. But as I looked for a decent Android app for Google news, while there were some apps, none of them matched my expectations.
All I wanted was a simple NATIVE clean user interface that lays-out news. Some apps are 'OK', but most free apps had annoying advertisements that I always hated. So I decided to create an app purely for myself. And I thought there might be at-least a few of you (Android phone owners) who'd have same annoyances with cluttery apps for Google news.
