#3Seems like a similar path would be sensible: at first it's a topic for IT, but over time it'll creep into all subjects.

This is a load-bearing statement, students will get left behind. Chinese students getting distilled knowledge will lead to a performance gap that New York students may never overcome.

In highschool, students learn to use many tools which are physically dangerous, including automobiles, stovetops, carpentry and metal fabrication tools, chemical laboratory equiment, and may even compete in archery or rifle events. All of these things can be used for good or for harm, and we introduce them when students are a little older. Why can't AI be on this list?
