Hi HN, Abhi here, founder of IdleAds. AI coding is expensive and the money only flows one way (cry). My friends and I had been joking for months about renting out the "thinking…" spinner — so here it is: ads in that dead moment, and the dev running the tool keeps 70% of the revenue.

You've maybe seen another version of this going viral. I wanted one that spreads the money out — 70% to devs now, aiming for 90% as it scales.

Impressions are verified server-side, the editor is never patched, and the CLI never sees your code or prompts. Not here to make a killing, here to push some money back to the people paying for all these tokens.

It's early — happy to answer anything.

What is the payout method? And is it possible to install it on VSCode or it must be on CLI?
