#4Loved the store, and the mailer as a kid. Really inspired me to build things. Really wish more stores like it still existed. Anytime I'm back in MKE, it's one of my first stops.

Oh, damn, I didn't realize they were gone. I used to like shopping there, but they started to seem less fun as time went on, and the last couple of times I went it seemed to have lost those positive/creative vibes.

It's not exactly the same, but for folks in the Triangle (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) area of NC, there is The Scrap Exchange[1].

#9Easily the best store I've ever been to. Unfortunately the nearest one is ~an hour drive, so I only visit once every couple of years, but it's always a good afternoon.
