#3That's a feature that a lot of people like about HN. That said you can have as much privacy on HN as you want you have to facilitate it yourself though. If you are too lazy to use the platform as you want, it might just not be the right platform for you. Also catering to fringe users like you and their "rights" they feel obliged to never worked for any platform.

You broke the rules, of course you were banned. If you so choose, you can make some accounts that you reuse, but making throwaway accounts routinely is not conducive to good discussion as the practice normalizes driveby commenter's who'll make a new account, spam a thread, then leave.
