Promised myself I'd only share this project when I'd be sad not to have it—and now we're here!

Not sure how your financial health measures up at your age?

Just one of the problems that I wanted to solve with MoneyOwl.

The last few months instead of doing Netflix and chill at night I was working on my pet project. I wanted to create a personal finance app that served my needs.

Tech stack

- NextJS (Tailwind and Shadcn)

- Supabase for database

- Render for hosting the web app and cron jobs

- OpenAI mainly for AI requests

- Gocardless for Open banking API to get banking info

Slick demo! I'm curious: why not use Render for Postgres as well?

thanks! Yes was thinking about it but Supabase has so much firepower and I am just so used to it
