#2Good point, but I would argue that there's something that changes when you pay, even if the business is losing money or breaking even on the sale. You're still a paying customer.

#3The issue isn't that there are no benefits to surveillance capitalism. The issue is that we're effectively forced to give up some amount of a basic human right against our will.
