Why Google randomly cancels old products: employee reviews and infra changes

Random blue check post trying to shoehorn some theory.

Not that these issues aren't well known to exist and play a role in many Google abandonings but with Reader there was a lot more variables and change in the landscape as far as RSS and feed platforms at the time to chalk it up to this alone IMO.

There's even a xoogler in the replies saying it wasn't infra changes.
