Happy to learn that I'm not the only one who hates the volcano pasta thing. For some reason people think it's fancy and sophisticated, but it's nonsense.

Sauce is an integral part of the dish and not some optional garnish. The two components of the dish must be properly fused together for optimal experience!

Surely the correct-correct response is "however the eater likes it" Example, my kids. If it isn't separate they won't touch it.

As a kid, I thought that that was the proper way to serve pasta, thanks to Big Pasta indoctrination via tv shows and ads.

I'm happy to announce that I'm now saved and that I've been enjoying my pasta as it was supposed to be enjoyed: pre-sauced!
