This is my new monthly submission for people looking for open-source projects to volunteer on.

EXAMPLE:

ExampleScript: A small script that generates example text.

It doesn't have to follow this format, but it's as simple as it could get.

If you do Rails or are interested in learning it, Ruby for Good has a bunch of great projects with non-profits (e.g. legal aid, animal shelters) that are easy to jump in and contribute to.

Thanks. I learned so much while volunteering on projects, so why not help others find volunteer projects while I'm at it?
