That is pretty surprising. Intuitively the existing Pixel repair centres should be able to repair the Pixel Watch too. Does anyone know why that isn't the case?

Look at this thread: it's barren. That's how much this shocks people.

Experimenting on customers and soft-abandoning products and services by depriving them of support until the day they can legally move on is their bread and butter.

Recall that it took six years from the launch of the first Pixel to make UBreakiFix a repair partner. Why would we expect to be able to repair a Pixel Watch after less than a year?
