My Twitter Account (walter) just got Suspended

Very strange Walter, you should contact them immediately. This happened on one of my accounts a few years back and once I explained that I wasn't up to badness, they re-instated it.

They recently suspended the Proxlet App for breaking Ts&Cs but I think that was just the App not the account.

Hi St3fan,

I sent an email to twitter contesting the suspension. It's odd I didn't get a notification email from twitter prior to the suspension. Right now, my guess is that the account got hacked and was used for spamming. I can't think of any other reason why the account would be suspended.

They basically do all of this stuff without notification. Sign of a very immature customer support organisation.

Why all the fuss? Email twitter and resolve it with them. Why everyone has to know about such a minor event?

Hi Walter. As some are saying here, I don't think this is much news-worthy. However, I think it could be quite interesting and illustrative to write an article explaining the whole process from start to end. Why don't you share with us the whole story once it finishes, with your hassles and maybe some tips for other readers?

I can't say I noticed any strange activity coming from your account. In fact, I think it was pretty quiet for the past few days
