I'm a product developer, currently working to create a portable timed locking case for my phone. I've experimented with a lot of tools to limit my phone use, and so far this is proving the most effective.

#5What if you get a call? Not knowing who is calling would be frustrating. Knowing would possibly be even worse.

I think there's a spectrum of tech reduction tools, from a soft block (e.g. Freedom.to) and leading to the hard block (Intent Case)
For some folks always being connected is a hard and fast product requirement, but others are happy to forgo an urgent call. Note that a generation ago, any trip away from the house required you to accept that you wouldn't be available for a call
