#3What kind of precedent is this setting the world over, being a leader and allowing these things to happen? I get that this man and his wife must be very dedicated to their jobs, but why not at least give them a relatively cheap hotel room and like a bare-minimum of parental leave? Just absolute nonsense and I hope this isn't becoming normalized.

They will as long as the only way to get enough of a nest egg to give a child what it needs to thrive requires tolerating abuse :-)
This kind of behavior is doing a disservice to society at large.

There are enough better jobs right now that nobody should need to subject themselves to this in order to secure a nest egg and retirement. This kind of behavior is doing a disservice to society at large.
America is going to soon resemble what’s described in the beginning of V for Vendetta, with less eye candy.
