What kind of precedent is this setting the world over, being a leader and allowing these things to happen? I get that this man and his wife must be very dedicated to their jobs, but why not at least give them a relatively cheap hotel room and like a bare-minimum of parental leave? Just absolute nonsense and I hope this isn't becoming normalized.

Normal people are never going to do this kind of BS.

They will as long as the only way to get enough of a nest egg to give a child what it needs to thrive requires tolerating abuse :-)

There are enough better jobs right now that nobody should need to subject themselves to this in order to secure a nest egg and retirement.

This kind of behavior is doing a disservice to society at large.

I’ve never had two competing offers in my life, I’m saving up for emigration.

America is going to soon resemble what’s described in the beginning of V for Vendetta, with less eye candy.

But, it doesn't, at least not this kind of abuse. Otherwise, Musk's practices at Twitter wouldn't be newsworthy.
