I work for a medium sized private investment organization (~$6B AUM - 30 people). Our cybersecurity is truly lacking and it’s something I’m working on fixing. Im an investor, not the IT team (that is outsourced to an MSP).
Im concerned about the inevitable ransomware attack that is coming to our network.
What can I do as an individual worker to not be blocked on that zero-day. We have no DLP and no one would care if I saved files to a flashdrive / Google Cloud. I can pretty much do whatever I need to to be prepared.
