#2Quietly, without any announcement or updates on support pages, Google fixed a bug in Chrome with a significant implication for the video streaming industry: Support for adaptive streaming of HEVC/H.265 video content has finally been enabled!

Any well-written player that uses properly feature detection of browsers - Bitmovin Player, dash.js and Shaka are among those that have already been confirmed to work.
