I once spammed text messages to the person whose phone number was mobile prefix + 1111111. I didn't realize until he called customer service to complain.

I wonder how many $$$$$'s this cost Airbnb in lost revenue because lots of users have now blocked notifications?

I wouldn't have assumed people would react that harshly but one comment on that tweet said they just turned them off.

Probably almost nothing. Most of us swiped the notification away and got on with our lives.

People make mistakes, it's ok.
