I have been stuck on 97 karma points for many months now and I can no longer control my curiosity. What happens when I hit the magical treshhold of 100? Please either initiate me into that secret or upvote me so I can find it out myself!

#2Nothing happens at 100, as far as I know. If you get above 500, you can downvote comments.

You get points from other users. You have to engage in discussion or submit highly interesting links to get points. There are people who submit several links per day.
But for some people (like me) these kid of forums are addictive, I browse them constantly trying to find some hidden treasure and there is none. It could even bring a fatigue about "awesome stories".

#7At 400 your own comments stop counting, only up votes. At 500 you can down vote. In my experience.

It's easiest to get point with links. Easily >100 if it's a good one. On discussions you can get about 100 per month.
