Diagramming tools are pretty common. It’s not like those two players invented the concept. Even if they did, people trying to build a better lightbulb is how competition works.

To be honest, it looks more like they forgot to remove the link than they mean to credit the original project. Anyway, excalidraw is a great project, and I'm happy more people get to know about it thanks to this kind of usage
