If they can continue to eliminate middlemen who do nothing but skim their rates off of the layer below them then sure, it will keep scaling.

It's not the whistle that pulls the train!

Chances are that Tange hired well qualified employees tht fit the corporate culture (and fired the ones who didn't fit in), and continued to reward as objectives were met.

Remind me of Netflix and GE 20 years ago.

You can pay 3-4x more for an employee that is 10x more productive (This is what I think about Netflix). It's a great deal for everyone.

I don't think you can really convince most employers of this though.
