#2Everyone has their standards of propriety. Some things are inappropriate on Twitter, while in some places Twitter itself is inappropriate. I think it's a good lesson.

Github hosted anything suffers from the same problem, obviously. Russian govt. would just pressure github to remove any content they don't want.

Russian standards of propriety are very similar to American. Russian government's ones are not, but that's a different story.
