I sometimes wonder if some aspects of power in the open source world will get this sort of book-length treatment. There are lots of fascinating stories that could be explored.

Start with a short blog post and see if you develop an interested readership.

There are topics I am interested in, knowledgeable about, and feel an urge to write about, but power relationships in open source projects isn't one of them.
