#6I would try http://www.firehost.com/secure-hosting/wordpress its a bit on the high end but I am a happy customer.

I have few sites hosted with them. Down times are terrible. Expensive doesn't always mean good service.

That's a surprise. When I was with them about a year ago I didn't really have any problems. There was some scheduled downtime for maintenance, but it was never unreasonable.
