#2It's definitely an interesting idea. Though one of the major features that I love about Uber/Lyft is that I don't have to worry about paying in cash.

Stripe doesn't really cost that much; you could support card payments and pass the stripe fees along to both parties (50/50 to the passenger and driver)
This is a really good idea if it can take off, but I think cash only is a non-starter, though I understand the restriction initially

#5Interesting idea but not as convenient for someone who travels and doesn’t want to organize a cash withdrawal to leave the airport. With Uber I can just get going.

#6My concern with this is the problem of ensuring the safety of the person driving the cab and the real identity of the rider.
Lots of drivers will be reluctant because they can be stiffed on the bill. Lots of passengers will be reluctant to use it due to the inherent risk of riding with what is essentially a stranger.

#8I would never use this or recommend it. Extremely unsafe. Any goon can create a "Taxi" account and do whatever he wants.

How is it more dangerous for the driver than picking someone up on a streat corner?
