I disagree. This is a "show HN" post. Anyone should show anything they feel good about. Even if it's ABD (already been done). Keep the NoSQL databases and JS libraries coming!

Yup, cool. But don't you think creating a database engine involves many high-technical subjects that only a team of engineers can handle them?
I'm the author of IntroJS and many other open-source JavaScript libs. Those things make much more sense than a database engine.

I learned a ton of things doing this (not least how to post something on HN, and that Show HN exists). Can't say that for Minecraft.

Btw, have you followed a tutorial or a instruction to make this? I'm reviewing the code and it seems pretty straightforward.

Nobody should ever invent new things or try building things. The set of technologies we have is completely perfect. No further innovation is required.
