Show HN: colorr.me – Color and Gradient Background Generator

I recently built colorr.me, a tool to create simple solid or gradient backgrounds which can be used for Notion covers, background images and so on. You only have to provide the HEX codes and customize the size and other properties of the image.

I would love to hear feedback and suggestions for this. Please note that this is just a fun project for me to learn Go. It can be used to have custom background for e.g. your Notion page but it's surely nothing too serious :)

This is cool service! I had an idea for some features to suggest: Primarily a "Surprise Me" option that randomized the color and angle to help me envision new options.

Thanks to your excellent URL scheme I could have Claude create a quick artifact to see how it would work.

Thanks for this suggestion. I‘ll try to implement it. I guess it could also be added as an extra path like „/surprise“ or „/random“ which will generate random backgrounds for a Notion page for example
