Why wouldn't I just use the iPhone simulator and Photoshop?

I found it quite a hassle to snap a screenshot, export it to my computer and then load it in Photoshop just to measure it though. Found myself wondering if there was an easier way to do that, so built this mainly to scratch my own itch.
