Show HN: Chess Fun For Little Ones – An interactive book to introduce chess

#1
Hi Hacker News

I'm Mayghal, one of the engineers/designers/creators of Chess Fun For Little Ones - a new and unique Arduino based interactive book to introduce little ones to the world of chess through some colourful LED lights, characters and poems.

There's a video showcasing the book on our website: https://www.chessfunforlittleones.com/

We're planning to launch a kickstarter towards the end of the month so if you like the book, I would appreciate you signing up to be notified when the kickstarter goes live via our website :)

Thank you in advance for taking a look and let me know if you have any questions!

That looks pretty interesting! How does the book know which page you're on? Is it based on light sensors?

No light sensors - each page has a small magnet embedded within it at a certain place with the pcb having a Hall effect sensor at the corresponding location
