Do you not think it's misleading to have a quote from yourself in your 'What Our Users Say' section?

Not necessarily. I was a user of the product myself - until I have a user base that can vouch for the product, I can vouch for it ;) But I promise to take it off after a few more come!

Not necessarily. I was a user of the product myself - until I have a user base that can vouch for the product, I can vouch for it ;) But I promise to take it off after a few more come!

Ok, I'll rephrase - it's extremely unethical and possibly also illegal in some jurisdictions to pretend to be a normal user and not disclose that you're the creator of the product in your testimonial

I'm tired of ANY-quality AI content; if I go to a company's website and it's full of SEO chum I'm closing the tab and never going back.

I agree that long term it is annoying, but in the short term it lets you rank moderately. We're playing the game Google is giving us...

There is no proof that Google refuses AI content. As long as it is helpful, it ranks just like any other - proof are the websites using this tool and growing in rankings (screenshot on the website).
