Every morning I reserve one hour to read the ~20 Newsletters that I subscribe to and one day I notice something: few of them were collecting feedback from readers. The ones that does collect feedback, were using Google Forms. Opportunity? Definetly.
Collect feedback is essential because if you reader is not 100% satisfied with your content and he didn't found a way to tell you that, he will simply unsubscribe.
So, instead of subscribing to 20 more newsletters, I decided to create https://surveyx.co, a feedback tool tailored for Newsletters. The idea is simple:
The writer:
1 - Creates a Survey.
2 - Embed the question HTML directly into the email he is going to send.
3 - Wait to get some valuable feedback from people that would otherwise just Unsubscribe.
The reader:
1 - Reads the email
2 - Gives a score to the content without leaving the email (you can use different metrics such as NPS and CSAT)
3 - If enable, the reader can dive into his answer (with a open question)
4 - Is redirected for a URL configured by the writer
