#3I guess I'm used to nearly a megabyte of javascript coming over the network, but...
Four embedded fonts? Just to get the character ⓘ and a checkmark, both of which are just regular unicode characters that these font files mis-encode?
Does anyone even look at anything any more?

Thanks! The recent history is populated by automated status changes (i.e. outages and degradations) and manually created issues. Status changes are automated via watchdogs, which support a variety of integrations, including our own built-in monitoring solution that provides both the statuses and metrics you see here. For an example, take a look at https://status.sherlock.stanford.edu.

It's probably some extension, because my 0-extension Chrome loads just two images, one CSS, one JS: https://i.imgur.com/kyhBCF9.png

Are you sure? There's a lot of stuff going on here, and I'm on Firefox. No adblocker or any addons that meddle with page requests or content. https://i.imgur.com/e141uBx.png

You're looking at the real HN, not at the Status Page HN..
