There's a thread full of people saying how clever humorous they find almost every headline.

The real 4D chess is dogmatically assuming it is not assuming it managed to by pure accident succeed in that dozens of separate times, because your dogma refuses to incorporate evidence to the contrary.

Occam's razor is that this system which no one actually understands the emergent capabilities of, and is convincing so many people it has intention... has intention.

I am confused by the tone and message of your comment — are you indeed arguing that having corporations use country-scale resources to run unsupervised psychological manipulation and abuse experiments on global population is one of just two choices, the other being people not doing anything at all?

I'm saying that what you have referred to as "psychological manipulation and abuse experiments" is in reality a source of motivation that helps people break the dormancy trap and be more active in the world, and that this could be a significant net benefit.

I just want all sides of the question explored, instead of reflexively framing AI's impact as harmful.

This is a super cool idea. I like it man. I love how CNN now covers "Mars & Earth" lol.

We really need to put together a tool that merges, my, your and tom's ideas:

1) input any web page (ideally something that tracks 'current stuff', but it doesn't matter,

2) prompt to generate the page 10 years in the future using your & my template, and

3) take the result and then feed that into tom's py script for filling in all the sub-pages and external links.

Lol. It's so funny and such a werid thing. We could have a slider where you select the time (in future or past). Kind of funny ha.
