Well, rather, it DOES. Maybe the unencoded '/' in the URL (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sputnik-1_EMC/EMI_lab_model) breaks the 6 Degress of Wikipedia?

Game is much more challenging if you ban pages that also have big categories. (Look of Category: X exists and add some cutoff based on number of links there.) Obviously also lists.

There are several easy to reach pages without categories. Almost anyone alive during WW2 will have a WW2 link. Almost every country is 1 degree from Hitler. Most companies/publications around than will link to Hitler.

If you skip lists, it gets quite a bit harder. Countries or places would need special handling yes, they make way too many links.

Probably trimming top 5% of most linked pages will make for a fun game.

This is awesome! I looked up "New Zealand" and "Yellow". There was only one degree of separation, via Ochre: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ochre#In_Australia_and_New_Zea...

I learned that the Maori people of New Zealand used ochre mixed with fish oil to paint wakas (war canoes), and also as an insect repellent.

Those graph node colors are not very color blind friendly. They are easy to differentiate in the list view, but in the graph with black borders, they are just too low contrast.

I'll look into it. Interestingly, I'm using[1] one of the default d3 color scales, which I assumed would be color blind friendly out of the box.
