I want rimworld where every pawn and entity is effectively sentient and they have real conversations with each other.

#55Today AI can control containers, tomorrow it could control critical infrastructures, and eventually it should be robust enough to monitor and control things like nuclear missile silos, etc… This is what proponents of AI everywhere are pushing for.
Join the ai alignment and prevent this from happening.

#59Not sure how I feel about this. One part of me is like “this is cool, now AI can control my k8s” while another part of me is like “here comes the AI malware apocalypse”.
Yes there are so many tedious devops incantations I’d love to hand off, but my first thought watching the video (where it wgets a jar file and runs it) was we’re going to see the return of hard to contain worms being accidentally spread by AI sysadmins.

The closing of the open web is the only recourse companies have against scraper AI GPT’s. Openness is being exploited and techniques and trades will become closed again. In order to learn how to code in the next Vulkan API, you must work for a studio, is not a world I want to live in.
With remote work how will they know they aren't hiring an AI?
