IMO, em dash isn’t a great signal — plenty of people used them already. I can type em-dash easily on my phone with double dashes.

the giveaway for me is the too-perfect summary list of things it loves the most

When announcing a product, the language, license, version number, amount of time under development since inception, and approximate number of contributors are all critical pieces of information to include in an announcement.

Ten years is a long time. Is it just you? What language is it in? Does it run on desktop or does it need a server? What is the license?
